Villas were beautiful looking out on the lake. Very spacious as well.

Pool and sunbeds were very dirty. They need brand new sunbeds as they have mold growing on them.

We stayed in a private villa with our own pool, the villa was spotless, the pool was lovely and the bed was so comfortable we could have stayed in that bed all day

There wasn’t much facilities, maybe we didn’t explore the place that much but no restaurants

What was the highlight of Farmers Villa

Peaceful and clean.

We enjoyed our stay at farmers Villas and the Manageress was very friendly and helpful. She responds to email, and arranged a Taxi to meet us at the airport, Peter the taxi driver was honest and didn't try to rip us off. Thank it was 500 baht from airport to hotel. We used huim a lot during our stay to visit various markets and beaches. The hotel is actually a collection of spacious cute one and two bedroom Villas. They have comfy beds and air conditioning and a private bathroom/shower. The hotel actually has two different swimming Pools,(medium and large sized). Hotel offers good laundry service. Villas are quiet as they are all set well back from the (busy) main road that runs past the entrance. Its about a 15 min flat walk to the nearest Beach (Mae Nam beach) which has the Ferry boat pier, and several bars and restaurants. Our favourite beach bar was the Hua Kati bar which is 300m up the beach (turn right as you hit the beach front). It has a relaxed Palm trees+Hammock vibe. Farmers Villas doesn't have a bar or restaurant, but there's a lovely little "locals" restaurant 150 m from the entrance (turn right as you hit the main road). Don't know it's name but it has little thatched booths outside, so easy to spot. Excellent Thai breakfast of Pork+ Rice and soup for only 80 baht each. It's opposite the Maenam Grand Hostel. Otherwise the road leading to the beach (turn left just past 7/11 supermarket), has lots of bars and restaurants . Our favourite if you like Thai food was Pooms for supper. There's also a Pizzeria and an upmarket European restaurant (Cali's) on that road. There's a small night market on Saturday evenings on the beach front next to the Wat Na Phra temple. Good cheap food from stalls, but not much to buy. If you want presents and souvenirs try the Fishermans Village night market on Friday evenings, with lots of food and drinks available too. It's about 500 baht taxi fare to get there.

the Hotel was very good overall , and a reasonable price for the quality of accommodation. MaeNam town doesn't have a lot to offer, but as it's half way round the Island it makes a good base to visit other areas.

Excellent quality price, amid a stunning and quiet environment.

We liked the great location and the stunning environment with the rice fields around. The staff was very friendly, flexible and available. Even if close to the main road the estate was quiet, we had the pool for ourselves everytime. Overall really good quality price.

The resort is under renovation meaning the main pool and restaurant are not accesible although that was made perfectly clear before our arrival and reflected in our tariff. Besides, given that the doors could not perfectly close we had some mosquitoes in our room at night.

Pretty villa in quiet, well-connected area.

The room, lotus pond (with all the wildlife), the balcony. It’s on a main road so is well connected but it’s also quite hidden so it is quiet and private. Staff are friendly and helpful. Vegan restaurant called Two Sisters is about 17 minute walk away and is delicious. The beach is only a short walk from the restaurant. Opposite Two Sisters is an Indian restaurant called Babu which has lovely vegan options too.

No hangers in the wardrobe and when we requested some we weren’t given any. There’s a section in the bathroom where plants are supposed to be but ours didn’t have any plants, it only had soil and bits of rubbish.

Relaxing

Location was quiet, beautiful pool area and villas were spacious. Beds were so comfortable and so were the pillows (much needed after backpacking!) room was cleaned every single day without fail. Facilities were also amazing. Staff would always go out there way to help you and the owner was so lovely I didn’t catch her name but she sorted us out an extra night for a really great price.

Was slightly dated and could do with a lick of paint here and there and hot water wasn’t consistent but that’s all.

Perfect place to stay in a more quit place on Koi Samui (not the touristic center)

Private house, with a private pool and a small deck with 2 sunchairs and table. Shower was great, airco working perfect and a good bed, and a small fridge. Our TV was not working, but we do not need TV op holiday anyway. WIFI was perfect! Close to shops and nice restaurants. We rented a fairly priced scooter at the reception and the also facilitated with a taxi to and from the airport.

The property is old, so do not expect a new place (i do not say it's not OK, but expect some imperfections such as a some rotten wood on the exterior etc.) One of the two public pools is not in use, but who needs two pools anyway, and the property does not offer a restaurant or shop.....but dont worry you van find more than enough food (and a 7-11) just s few minutes away

it is nice ambiance, overlooking the lake with blooming flowers is lovely. houses are spacious and the view from the room is nice.

it could be cleaner. houses are also a bit outdated and they also have problems with hot water - hot water in the shower works only if you turn on water in the sink at the same time. that means that from the shower you can’t get the water pressure you would wish in order to shower, let alone wash your hair. for the price paid I would expect higher standards.

Gorgeous setting, but lacks a few amenities

A gorgeous setting, with private bungalows and an infinity pool, it was really instagram worthy. It does live up to the pictures. The room itself was really roomy, with a nice bathroom and a huge bed which felt luxurious.

Unfortunately, it was limited to the pool and the villas themselves. This is not a 4* hotel. Yes there's a pool, and the villas are surrounded by beautiful marshes, but there's a disused onsite cafe which looks in disrepair (or it hasn't been built yet, I'm not sure, and we weren't informed...). There were no other amenities. There was ongoing work to the land which was noisy day and night. The staff were kind, but inattentive. The location isn't ideal, set back from a very busy road and not really near the beach. This was the most expensive property we've stayed in in Thailand so far and just didn't have the facilities we've experienced in other places. We paid approx 12,500 baht for 4 nights. If it was cheaper, it would have been perfect.

Rooms are large and very comfortable with lovely views. Quieter and more intimate than the beachfront places. It’s a 4 m

The service here was outstanding with the team making every effort to go above and beyond what was required - providing rides and advice, ordering take aways following a late night arrival, preparing packed lunches for early morning exits and more.

There were a couple of teething problems with the facilities following the post-Covid reopening, but the staff were incredibly responsive and addressed any issues immediately and effectively.
